Straight Answers

How much does mobile welding cost?

$75–$150/hour with a $100–$150 minimum. Most jobs are quoted by the job, not hourly. Trailer repairs: $150–$600. Gate fixes: $75–$400. Heavy equipment: $300–$2,000+. We tell you the price before we start.

What is on-site line boring?

Portable machining for worn pin bores. Instead of tearing down the machine and shipping components to a shop, we bring precision boring equipment to your location. We bore weld the worn holes to build them up, then machine them back to spec—all without moving the equipment.

Do you offer same-day service?

Yes. Call before noon and we can usually get there the same day. Emergency calls get priority. 24/7 availability for equipment failures, plant shutdowns, and production-critical situations.

Can you weld aluminum?

Yes. We carry MIG and TIG equipment for aluminum and stainless. Aluminum work runs slightly higher—usually $100–$175/hour. Common for marine repairs in the North Miami area.

What heavy equipment can you repair on-site?

All types: excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, backhoes, cranes, forklifts, mining equipment, and agricultural machinery. Common repairs include frame cracks, boom and stick repair, bucket rebuilds, pin bore wear, and structural reinforcement.

Do you handle emergency plant shutdowns?

Yes. We provide 24/7 emergency response for plant shutdowns and industrial repairs across Florida. Our crews can mobilize within hours for equipment failures, pipe leaks, structural repairs, and production-critical situations.

Is there a travel fee?

Within 30 miles, no separate travel fee—it's built into our minimum. Beyond 30 miles, we charge $1.50/mile one way. For large industrial jobs, we travel statewide. We'll tell you upfront.

What is carbon arc gouging?

Metal removal using a carbon electrode and compressed air. It's faster than grinding for removing old welds, back-gouging root passes, and preparing cracks for repair. Our mobile rigs carry carbon arc equipment for on-site weld prep.
